Yes, I’m still on my smoothie (&salad) kick – and it makes me feel like it’s summer already! Today the weather was pretty good again and I wanted something refreshing before going to the gym. I wasn’t hungry actually, because it was only about 1.5 hour after I had lunch, so I wanted to make something lighter.
It turned out to be a super simple smoothie. I chopped half a banana, half a pear and a handful of frozen strawberries and I blended them with ice cold water. For the sake of lightness I decided to ditch milk and even protein powder, and it was a good idea. The smoothie was still pretty tasty -even without any sweeteners, though you can always add some honey or stevia- yet fresh and light. Exactly what I needed!
