First of all just a random fact, because I am happy about it: it’s only the first week of June but I’ve already ran 20km this week! Not much for most runners, but amazing for me! The weather’s been amazing, 30°C and sunshine and running was a perfect was to rest a bit from studying and freshen up my mind! Not ditching the gym though, I’ve been four times already this week – and I started training one of my friends, so it’s been an awesome week in this regard too!
BUT what I actually wanna write about is the green smoothie I made today after my run!
So my parents always go on a big food shopping spree at the first week of every month and that usually means tons of fresh veggies from the farmers market. Just like today, they brough so much stuff that I couldn’t resist making a smoothie out of it!
It was actually a pretty simple one, but it turned out really well! It was refreshing, but didn’t have too much of the “green taste” so it was perfect. Drinking almost 0.5L of it made me feel pretty full too at least for a few hours. I used:
- A banana
- 1/2 tablespoon of honey
- Ice cold water
