I can barely believe! Yesterday I passed my very last (and hardest) exam so I am officially done for this semester and free for summer! It is a bit strange that I don’t have to study in the mornings but I couldn’t be more excited about it!
I am really enjoying this freedom already. Yesterday I went to the gym after the exam and had a great and super sweaty cardio session -treadmill and bike- and some abs. But I just couldn’t sit still after going home so I decided to go on a long walk in the city. Just walking around, listening to music, watching the people, it was so perfect!
When I bumped into the Lush stroe near the Danube, I couldn’t resist going inside to look around. And as it always happens, I couldn’t leave without buying something. Their products are just so amazing, high quality for great prices and lush is also famous for fighting against animal testing that always makes me feel good about buying their products. So I decided I deserve some pampering after passing this super hard exam with an excellent mark, and a bubble bars sounded way healthier than treating myself with food for instance. I went with one of my absolute favourites Yuzu and cocoa and it was such a great choice! I had a super relaxing bubble bath in the evening!
And then this morning I enjoyed the best part of having free mornings: I went for a run! I felt so free, it felt amazing! And even though it was before 8 am, it was already pretty hot and I came back sweaty as hell! I was so glad this frozen treat was in the freezer waiting for me! A few weeks before I saw Dasha’s Protein Popsicle reicpe and I thought it was a crazy good idea, but I only got to try it now. Well, mine doesn’t look as pretty and I used another flavour (100% Whey Professional – Vanilla Very Berry by Scitec) but it was perfect to cool myself down after a run and get a proper post-workout snack at the same time. Next mission is to get my dad try it hoping he would like it! He has weight issues but just won’t stop eating sweets and ice cream, so changing the ice cream to healthy popsicles at least would be a great start – he’s just so stubborn! Wish me luch with that, haha!
And I still have an awesome afternoon planned for today! My good friend Kate is home from Taiwan for a week, so we’re gonna meet up today to walk around the city and admire our beautiful beautiful Budapest! Can’t wait to rock my new crop top and sandals, and soak up the real summer feeling for the first time this year!
