Budapest appreciation

As some of you may know, I successfully graduated from college in June and was chosen as a Taiwan Scholarship recipient, so in a month I’ll move back to Taiwan to complete my master’s degree over there at National Chengchi University (NCCU).

I am beyond excited to move back to this wonderful wonderful place and get all my friends back, to be able to row in dragonboat again – but also a little sad that I’ll have to leave my beautiful Budapest behind. So in the last few weeks I started redoing all the most Budapest-y things possible, playing tourist in my hometown, doing crazy things like picnic on top of the bridge, drinking apple flavour BCAA from champagne glasses and taking millions of pictures and videos. Now I want to share some of those with you guys, in case you’re interested in what a lovely city Budapest is and what I have been up to lately.

First of all you can see this short little video below from our day yesterday. I was behind the camera and that’s my friend Kate, also a “Hungarian from Taiwan”. We had the best time walking all around the city, looking up to see the incredible details of the buildings, going to a few stores and stopping here and there to take some pictures. Bare with me regarding the shots and editing, I still have to figure out how to work my camera in video mode and also gotta get better with the editing, but hope with time it will improve because I am thinking about vlogging and taking cool travel videos once I’m back in Taiwan 🙂

And for the rest of the post just a few of the best shots we took yesterday with Kate! If you have any suggestions on how to improve, don’t hesitate to leave a comment below! Otherwise, I hope you’ll like them!
